Henrietta D. Long attended Eastern Alamance High in Mebane, North Carolina. In 1978 she completed a GED program at the Winston-Salem Technical Institute. She also, in 1984, completed the Brick Masonry Course from Wake Technical in Raleigh, NC. In 1989, Henrietta received a Certified Nursing Assistant certificate. In 2000, she received a Professional Truck Driving Diploma from Transport Training in Lexington, NC. Henrietta says "I thank God for the training," The bible asks that we remain teachable.
